In 1993, a small unit named Emkey Electroplaters was founded by Mr. P. Muthumanickam and Mr. S. Karthikeyan, with the aim of serving the metal finishing industry. Dedication to quality and timely delivery, being our guiding motto, we started the electroplating services to various industries with Bright Nickel-Chromium Plating being the major component.
With high quality and great standards as the primary focus, we started our electroplating services, producing around 15,000 Sq.inches per day. With constant efforts, the services were scaled up to a whopping 40,000 Sq.inches per day.
In 2006, we further expanded our operations by introducing barrel plating facilities, accommodating customer requirements for both Bright Nickel and Dull Nickel plating. We continued to adapt and grow, recognizing the changing demands of the industry. Recently, we have established a Zinc Plating Unit with Trivalent Chrome Passivation to cater to the evolving needs of various industries.
Currently, the unit operates from our own premises, at approximately 3000 Sq. ft. of industrial space, including Labor Quarters. The connected load stands at 30 H.P., and we have a commissioned 62.5 KVA diesel generator to ensure uninterrupted operations. Additionally, the unit boasts a fully-equipped laboratory facility, ensuring strict quality control.
Looking to the future, Emkey Electroplaters has ambitious expansion plans underway. We intend to offer SILVER-TIN-ELECTROLESS NICKEL, ZINC-GOPALT, ZINC - NICKEL CADMIUM, COPPER, BRASS, AND PLASTIC PLATING.
